Variety: 100% Tempranillo
Ageing: 15 months in 30% American, 70% French oak barrels of first and second use.
Colour: picota-cherry red with reflections.
Nose: aromas of black fruit (blackberry and blackcurrant) accompanied by coconut and spicy notes, slight hint of roasted coffee along with vanilla and caramel and a mineral touch
Taste: fresh, intense and silky entry with hints of balsamic and spicy flavours, hints of black fruit, burnt sugar and light aftertaste of vanilla and coconut.
Elaboration: manual harvesting and processing, having all clusters pass through conveyor selection. Fermentation achieved through vineyard own natural yeast and by enabling contact with the skins and seeds for about 14 days, aiming the greatest possible roundness in mouth. Only “teardrop” wine is selected to achieve the greatest possible fineness, followed byaging in barrel.
